Applying to KITAS Employee the estimation is 2 – 3 months (depend on the system)

Renewal is required every year. You do not need to fly out of the country to apply for the visa at an Indonesian Embassy or incur the Embassy visa application fee. Renewal needs to be processed a minimum of 1 month before your Kitas Expired.

The Retirement KITAS (Kartu Izin Tinggal Terbatas) is a type of
residence permit in Indonesia that is issued to foreign nationals
who are over the age of 55 and wish to retire in the country.
This permit allows retirees to stay in Indonesia for a maximum of
five years and can be renewed for an additional five years.

Up to 60 business days for processing in Indonesia. Application has to start at least 30 days before the previous visa/kitas expires

The extension need to be done first for 1 year, after this the kitas can be extended for a 5 year period. Renewal needs to be processed a minimum of 6 month before your Kitas Expired.
